Aloha and welcome to our website dedicated to introducing you to Marlene (Nachbar) Hapai, candidate for State House of Representatives, District 3, reaching from Hilo to Keaau, Kurtistown, Mt. View, Glenwood, Volcano and all the way to Pahala on the island of Hawaii. This vast and diverse area continues to experience the challenges of both developing and mature communities needing much attention given to improving infrastructure, health and safety, educational and social programs. This campaign will actively seek input from those living in the 3rd district to prioritize which needs are greatest and develop a realistic timeline to satisfying those needs as well as other less critical needs that improve the quality of life.
Please feel welcome to give us your input under our News blog or look under "Contact Us" and give us a call, email or visit our campaign office in the Keaau Village Market which will open June 7, 2012. We look forward to your helping prepare Marlene to represent you and hit the ground running in January of 2013 when the Legislature convenes. She is ready to serve you and prepared to provide the leadership that is greatly needed for the district and humbly asks for your vote to give her the opportunity to do so. A brief resume follows. See complete resume under : "About Marlene."
